Creating the perfect Photos of your Event

I appreciate your interest in having me capture your event! We understand that capturing strong images at your event is important. To help ensure we create the images that you need, let’s chat about the details.

Event Questionnaire

What are the start and end times of the event?

What is the address of the location, any parking recommendations?

What is the nature of the event?

(Award Ceremony, Birthday Party, Conference, etc.)

What is the goal of taking pictures of your event? How will they be used?

What do you want the target audience to think/feel when viewing the pictures?

Is this an outdoor or indoor event? For indoor events: how is the venue lit?

(moody/dark, flooded with natural light, spotlights from the ceiling, etc.)

What would you like to have photographed?

(Candid photos of guests interacting/ doing activities, groups smiling into the camera, decorations/ food, etc.)

How many participants do you expect?

A rough estimate will do

Are there some key people at the event that should definitely be photographed, ideally multiple times?

(Who are they? Can a team member be made available to point them out?)

Are there any groups you would like photos of?

(Who are they? Can a team-member assemble the people for the group photo?)

Do you require pictures of all individuals or all couples upon arrival?

Are there any special activities you would like photographed?

At what time are they expected to take place?

What is the most important thing to capture during the event?

Is there a specific date when the images are needed?

Is it okay to use the photos in my brag file - aka my website/social media?

After your event, I will select the best images for you (so you don’t have to go through every image with closed eyes or a slightly different background). Then I will color-correct them and send them to you via digital gallery.

There you can mark any images you would like to have retouched - taming flyaway hair, gentle skin smoothing, teeth whitening, slimming, and background clean-up are typically possible. ($180 for every set of 10 images retouched)
